Privacy Policy

1. How ShiftPay Tracker works

ShiftPay Tracker is designed so that core shift tracking and pay estimation workflows take place on the user's device. When you add or edit a shift, the app may store work details such as time, rate, overtime, tips, notes, summary preferences, and export settings so it can calculate totals and generate reports.

2. Device access and permissions

ShiftPay Tracker primarily uses on-device storage and Apple system features needed to support the app experience. If you choose to export a summary or CSV file, the app uses Apple-provided sharing tools on your device. The app does not require account registration to use the main workflow.

3. Information we collect

ShiftPay Tracker does not operate a developer-controlled backend for its core shift logging workflow. The current app build is designed so that shift records stay on the device unless you intentionally export them through Apple system sharing features.

The app stores limited application state locally on the device so it can function properly, which may include:

• Shift entries such as role labels, hours, pay rate, tips, and notes entered by the user.
• Report preferences such as tax estimate settings and export style selections.
• Starter feature counters and purchase entitlement state.
• Compliance acknowledgement state and limited recent session preferences.

4. In-app purchases

If you choose to purchase ShiftPay Tracker Pro, Apple processes the transaction through App Store systems. We do not receive your full payment credentials. Billing, subscription management, purchase restoration, and refund handling may be subject to Apple's terms, policies, and privacy practices.

5. Data sharing and disclosure

We do not sell personal data. The current app build does not include third-party advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs as part of the core workflow described here. Information may be disclosed only if required by applicable law, to respond to valid legal requests, or when you intentionally use Apple-provided sharing features to send an exported summary or CSV file to another destination.

6. Data retention

Shift records, report preferences, and app state remain on the device until you edit them, delete them, reset local data, or remove the app. Exported files remain wherever you choose to save or share them until you delete them from that destination.

7. International users and privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights relating to access, deletion, correction, or restriction of personal information. Because ShiftPay Tracker currently keeps core processing on device and does not maintain developer-run user accounts for the main workflow, many privacy actions can be completed directly on your device by deleting saved shifts, clearing local data, or removing the app.

8. Children's privacy

ShiftPay Tracker is a work utility and is not directed to children under the age at which independent consent is required in the user's jurisdiction.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the product, legal requirements, or business practices change. Material updates should be reflected in the app and in any hosted privacy policy used for the App Store listing.
